Ensuring Kids Have Access to Food Year-Round

The Maine Department of Education administers the Summer Food Program, a federally-funded program serving free healthy meals and snacks to youth when schools is not in session. They worked with me to create an updated, eye-catching logo and series of original illustrations to increase and promote community awareness of the program. The colorful illustration series features a variety of healthy foods and summer activities that reference practical and local-to-Maine themes like the beach, blueberry pancakes and “Italian” sandwiches. The graphic assets we created will be used across Maine on marketing materials including brochures, stickers, swag, and signage, as well as packaging and video/digital promotional outlets.
