Live “Comeback” Event at SXSW

Diggnation, the beloved tech-focused humor video podcast, made a triumphant return to the podosphere alongside the founders' takeover of news aggregator Digg.com. To mark the occasion, the Diggnation hosts staged a live event at SXSW in Austin, Texas, celebrating both their comeback and Digg’s relaunch.

I developed the creative concept for the event, embracing a playful “fight night” theme that set the tone for vintage boxing-inspired branding across event collateral, including wheat-pasted posters, bobblehead packaging, exterior and interior signage, barware, merch, and more. In addition to creative direction and design, I crafted event copy that captured Diggnation’s irreverent, tech-savvy spirit while honoring its legacy.
